Under the title of “Smart solutions for Payments” Bank of Beirut held a Business Conference on October 3, 2023 at the Phoenicia Hotel Beirut in the presence of representatives of a large number companies, commercial institutions, business groups, along with local and international NGOs. The Business Conference focused on the electronic payment solutions provided by the Bank, mainly the PayCards, and featured interventions from several businesses sharing their successful experience with Bank of Beirut’s digital solutions.

Highlighting the importance of e-solutions for business continuity, Mr. Fred Khoury, Head of Transaction Banking at Bank of Beirut, discussed the Business Banking solutions provided by the Bank including e-commerce, cash management, payable solutions and collection services tailored for merchants and businesses.

With the Bank of Beirut Business PayCard, he added, businesses can pay their unbanked beneficiaries electronically while giving them the possibility to access funds through cash withdrawals at ATMs or card usage at Points of Sale. The PayCard is also the perfect tool for NGOs wishing to distribute aids while keeping the name of the beneficiary unknown on the Card for privacy purposes.
