For the third consecutive year, Bank of Beirut brought support to the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative, a university-level competition organized by the American University of Science and Technology.

The competition which has stared earlier in 2016 with the aim to increase the employability of students and equip them with the needed skills to compete in the job market, has featured innovative ideas and new product development projects presented by students from various AUST campuses across Lebanon, aspiring to put their business ideas into practice.

Taking part in the selecting Jury, Mr. George Aouad –Director of Consumer Banking at Bank of Beirut stated that, under the leadership of our Chairman & CEO Dr. Salim Sfeir, Bank of Beirut participation speaks out of its commitment, in supporting the young entrepreneurs passionate for creativity and innovation.

In his turn, Dr. Riad Sakr, AUST VP expressed AUST Management’s utmost appreciation to Bank of Beirut Management continuous contribution to this initiative, without which this important event wouldn’t have seen the light.

 By supporting this initiative, Bank of Beirut is fostering an atmosphere of educational competitiveness establishing a bond between University students and the labor market.
