Simple, secure and convenient to use, Visa payWave allows you to pay at participating merchants without the need to swipe or insert your card. Just wave your Bank of Beirut chip-enabled debit card in front of a Visa payWave reader, enter your Pin and go.
Step 1: Look for the Visa payWave mark and contactless logo at the point of sale.
Step 2: When you’re ready to pay, hold your card in close proximity to the terminal (less than 4 cm from where the contactless logo appears).
Step 3: Enter your PIN*
Step 4: Once the terminal confirms that your transaction is approved, you’re ready to go!
