Lebanon’s leading commercial lender is expanding its business

The GCC and Australia will be the primary growth areas for Bank of Beirut, one of the most active correspondent banks in the GCC.
Salim Sfeir, CEO, expects the balance sheet of the Bank in Australia to outweigh that of Lebanon in the near future. “Weathering and surviving the economic and political climate in Lebanon often makes other challenges seem trivial,” according to Sfeir.
