Beirut – March 18, 2014 - Bank of Beirut held a big event to inaugurate its Smart Branch, a completely digital branch inviting the Bank's customers to a fully new self-service banking experience. Visitors can walk in at any time of the day or night; they can bank all by themselves, and end all their banking needs swiftly and easily.

With a host of guests, the media and the top management of Bank of Beirut, the 100 winners of Checkin & Win app. were also there to receive their prizes and try the digital banking experience.

B-Smart is on a corner between Foch Street and Uruguay Street. It includes one main open space with iPads, earphones, touch screens, an ATM, two huge digital screens/walls and a small room with a computer, a scanner and a screen to interact via video conferencing with Bank of Beirut Call Center and get the support needed.

Innovation and digitization are the two main ingredients Bank of Beirut is leveraging to smart Banking Beyond Borders. “B Smart” offers you the luxury of opening an account and receiving a debit card on the spot even on a Sunday, paying your university tuition fee at night, transferring funds in the evening. In details, “B Smart” boasts a video conferencing room with a contact center agent till 10p.m., full function cash and check deposit ATM, iPads, touch screens and other related peripherals 24/7. Two customer service representatives are ready to help you from 8a.m. to 10p.m. 7 days a week.

Adorned with blue and white, the two colors of Bank of Beirut, B-Smart revealed to the guests a clean, professional, smooth and easy experience that made them leave in awe and admiration. It is worth noting that Bank of Beirut will soon open other Smart branches across Lebanon.
