On February 11th, 2014, Mr. Salim Sfeir, CEO of Bank of Beirut, held a dinner in honor of his Holiness Bishop Torbey, Mr. Nicolas Papas and Ms. Julie Elliott from Bank of Sydney.

Mr. Sfeir thanked his guests for sharing the dinner and highlighted Bank of Beirut’s journey in Australia, a journey that started 3 years ago and that has led to the birth of Bank of Sydney, the true natural extension of Bank of Beirut. Without Trust, Sfeir said, no friendship survives and consequently no friendship thrives; and continued, “Be certain we are faithful… we will work hard to maintain that trust.”

On the following day, Bishop Torbey invited Mr. Salim Sfeir for lunch to praise the Man behind the success of Bank of Beirut, the Man whose vocation goes beyond the banking sector to reach the human, educational, sports and charity fields.
