Bank of Beirut has always aimed at getting socially involved and at making a difference through its Corporate Social Responsibility, whether in Lebanon or abroad.

Bank of Beirut Oman has chosen two major events in relation to the Australian and Omani communities knowing that 400 Omani students are now enrolled in different universities throughout the Land Down Under. Since those studying in Victoria-Australia are looking forward to becoming active members in both the Australian and the Omani communities, OSSV is organizing two major events in Oman during the Australian university summer break Dec 2013-Feb 2014: the Volunteering Event in Oman and the OSSV Night.

The former, sponsored by Bank of Beirut, helps raise awareness and participate in a waste management and recycling program as well as a beach cleaning event. As for the latter, it is the annual gathering for all the members including the Australian universities’ current and potential students. This event will be covered by the Omani media and will include officials, the public and the private sectors.
