Tuesday, 28th January, 2014, a day to remember!!! Bank of Beirut Sporting Club, has won the Lebanese Futsal Championship in its first official season and will represent Lebanon in the Asian Championships.

After playing as amateurs for several years and winning the Futsal Independence Cup in 2007, Beirut Corporate Games in 2008, and the Banks’ Futsal Championship in 2011, Bank of Beirut Team, headed by Mr. Hikmat Bekai as President, Mr. Henry Tabet and Mr. Mohammad Abboud as Vice Presidents, Mr. Roger Dagher as Treasurer, Mr. Fadi Bassil as Accountant, Mr. Jad Deaibess as General Secretary and Messrs. Bassem Arasoghli and Rabih Yaghi as Board Members, registered as a professional team in April 2013.

After a rather difficult game against the Lebanese Champions Sadaka, the 5th match was decisive with 3-1 for Bank of Beirut.
