For the third consecutive year, Mr. Salim Sfeir, Chairman of Bank of Beirut, will light the giant Christmas tree at Bkerké.

With an approximate height of 12.5 meters, adorned with red and shiny light bulbs, the Christmas tree will leave a dazzling effect on believers.

The tree, standing on a steel structure, with a set of Picea trees and a seven-to-eight-meter-high Cedrus Lebanus, will be planted later on in Bkerké. 500 poinsettias will ornament the base of the tree.

Christmas carols, the divine voice of Guitta Harb and a choir will add holiness to this charming setting.

Patriarch El Rai and Mr. Sfeir will light the tree at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday 15 December 2013 and the event will be broadcasted live on MTV. Bank of Beirut employees, with their families, are invited to take part in this sacred event.
