In collaboration with the Lebanese Ministry of Industry, Bank of Beirut launched its New Industrial Loan to pursue its constant support to the Lebanese industrialists and craftsmen by offering funds that help develop their industries or establish new ones.

The New Industrialist Loan funding that ranges between US$ 25,000 and US$ 250,000 is based on a 10-year reimbursement period and a 6-month grace period. The launching ceremony was held at the Four Seasons and was hosted by the Chairman General Manager of Bank of Beirut, Mr. Salim Sfeir, in the presence of Mr. Vrej Sabounjian, Minister of Industry and Mr. Fadi Abboud, Minister of Tourism and in the presence of key Lebanese economic bodies, trade unions, industrialists, associations, craftsmen, bankers and notable business figures. Sfeir stressed in his speech the importance of the Industry and its being the bridge linking the youth to their homeland. As for Abboud, he explained that Lebanon cannot reach an active and modern economy if the industry is not backed especially that the Lebanese Industry comprises first-class skills that could compete with the skills of any developed country.

With this new product, Bank of Beirut affirms one more time its role as firm supporter and steady contributor to the growth of the Lebanese Industry and Economy.
