Bank of Beirut hosted a webinar in partnership with The Syndicate of Licensed Clearing Agents in Lebanon and The Lebanese Forwarders Syndicate, discussing the best ways to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to digital payments and the best digital practices for optimizing payments for Port of Beirut.

During the webinar held on March 16th, 2023, Mr. Fred Khoury, Head of Transaction Banking at Bank of Beirut, discussed the various online solutions that Bank of Beirut offers to businesses, including the Port of Beirut electronic payment solution and other tailored Business Banking services. He also explained that companies, merchants, and clearing agents can easily settle their Port of Beirut payments and bills online, without the need to physically visit the bank.

This service enables users to track their transactions online and delegate employees to issue payments with full control over operations, in addition to issuing cheques online to the order of customs. The Port is instantly notified about the payment, allowing for the efficient clearance and delivery of imported goods.
