Bank of Beirut announced that it will postpone collecting installments on consumer and business loans for the months of March through June 2020, noting that no penalties will be imposed and the repayment will be at 0% interest rate.

This initiative falls within the relief measures offered to the Bank’s clients impacted by the Covid-19 crisis and comes in line with the BDL intermediate circular no. 547 issued on March 23, 2020. Customers eligible for these facilitations are those benefiting from Bank of Beirut consumer and/or housing loans who are on an unpaid leave or temporarily earning partial salary, and those benefiting from small business loan or commercial loans.
