Salim Sfeir Elected ABL Chairman

Bank of Beirut CEO Salim Sfeir Saturday was unanimously elected as chairman of the Association of Banks in Lebanon.

Dr. Sfeir told reporters after his election that the ABL will seek to further cooperate with the government, and urged authorities to coordinate with the ABL on any new taxes that may affect banks.
