Following the success of its first awareness event held last October for its female employees, Bank of Beirut marked the international awareness month by hosting again an informative session for its female clients and media partners, led by Yaduna’s Women Heart Health Center (WHHC).

Aiming at raising awareness on health disease in women in Lebanon, the conference - held under the slogan “Our Heart Beats for you” - sensitized Bank of Beirut guests on the importance of screening, prevention, and primary treatment of women heart diseases, a leading cause of death, as per statistics.
Hosted by Bank of Beirut on the 26th of October at the Four Seasons Hotel-Beirut, the conference featured a welcome message by Bank of Beirut representative Mrs. Carol Khoury stressing on the heart-to-heart connections with the Bank’s clients, in addition to interventions by Yaduna’s professionals who emphasized the importance of screening tests for women starting the age of 45.

Bank of Beirut’s clients tuned in to cardiologist Dr. Ziad Itani, dietitian and nutrition consultant Hana Orabi and social worker Diana El Helou who cited Heart Diseases risk factors and avoidable culprits as well as the different services offered by Yaduna to Lebanese women. A team was present as well to calculate the Body Mass Index of the ladies present at the event.

As a thoughtful gesture, Bank of Beirut pampered guests with a selection of gifts at the close of the forum.
