YOUTH, that’s what Bank of Beirut is committed to. Against this backdrop and in line with its CSR endeavors and strategy to promote education and support young talents, the Bank sponsored the latest edition of the NDU Film Festival under its constant theme “The Power of Youth.”

Deans, professors, Bank executives, art directors, actors, students and young filmmakers gathered at Notre Dame University to pay tribute to one of Lebanon’s greatest filmmakers: Nadine Labaki, watch a large array of short movies and applaud the talents and artistic excellence of students from various Lebanese universities.

Blogger and renowned film critique Anis Tabet was there with Bank of Beirut to interview some of the young filmmakers and discuss their work. “I’ve been attending the festival for several years now, Tabet says excitedly, but this time was certainly different as I had the chance to interview some of these young talents and discuss their movies”.

Recognizing the young talents, Bank of Beirut distributed valuable prizes to the winning filmmakers, offering a trip to Cannes Film Festival to the winner of the Public Vote Award.
