Beirut, August 31 2015: Within the scope of its social activities, Bank of Beirut organized its annualCorporate Day at Massaya in Faqra, on August 2, 2015. Bank of Beirut’s extended family, Chairman, senior management, heads of sections and staff gathered in acasual and fun atmosphere to celebrate their hard work and strengthen their bonds.

Bank of Beirut’s team enjoyed a relaxing day in one of Lebanon’s renowned vineyards and restaurants, away from work formalities. A day in nature with an entertaining program, colleagues from different branches were handed branded Bank of Beirut hats and bracelets, offered tasty welcome drinks along with traditional Saj bread, and given the chance to visit the winery and getacquainted with its operations.

In welcoming employees, Dr. Salim Sfeir, Chairman of Bank of Beirut,commented, “Had it not been for all of the tremendous efforts, Bank of Beirut wouldn’thave been the successful bank it is today. Therefore, it is my duty to thankeach and every one of you for the determination you put in to consolidate Bankof Beirut’s position in the local and international markets. It is only withyour collaboration and hard work that we will be able to attain together thesummit of our successful path.” He then added, “I consider today’s event asignificant tradition, one that proves that Bank of Beirut is not just aworking institution but a dear family.”

Souvenirs of this special gathering, such as instant photos, were takenduring a fun photo session and given out to all attending employees. Various activities such as a karaoke session, live magic show, fortune telling, alongwith several others, also took place, making it a memorable day. A live oriental band also entertained the audience with delightful music while a stand-up comedian amused attendees with his satirical and witty sense of humor. As the delicious lunch was served, Bank of Beirut’s Chairman, Dr. Selim Sfeir, visited each table and raised a toast to the bank’s outstanding success.

The day was wrapped with various lucky winners who got the chance to win notable cash prizes through a raffle draw and wheel of fortune game.

Bank of Beirut’s annual Corporate Day has become a ritual amongst the bank’s employees, and a significant demonstration of the bank’s team spirit. A much-awaited event, the activity is an integral part of the bank’s corporate calendar, one which employees look forward to every year.
