Bank of Beirut sponsored the honoring event of AUST President Hiam Sakr, organized by ‘Diwan Ahl Al Qalam’.

The event took place on March 10, 2016, at UNESCO Palace and was attended by dignitaries,public figures and ambassadors as well as Bank of Beirut Chairman, Dr. Salim Sfeir.

A documentary was projected, focusing on the major steps in the family and professional life of the  honoree who focused in her word on thanking the people who were instrumental in having her accomplish the little that she had done.

Following the UNESCO event, a special dinner was held at the Phoenicia Intercontinental that grouped around 400 personalities amongst whom Dr. Salim Sfeir who was granted a trophy of recognition of his continuous support to AUST.
