Dr. Salim Sfeir, Chairman – CEO of Bank of Beirut was granted "Lebanese Banker of the Year" 2014 Award by the German Ambassador to Lebanon Christian Clages and the President of the Lebanese German Business Council Elias Assouad.

Paying tribute to his efforts in enhancing the Lebanese-German relationships and for being the only Lebanese banker to establish a branch for his bank in Germany, the award was granted to Bank of Beirut's Chairman during a gala dinner hosted at the LGBC at the Hilton Habtoor, Beirut.

Receiving the Award from the German Ambassador, Dr. Salim Sfeir offered it to the Bank's Board of Directors, sating that Bank of Beirut is "a unique success story and a strong economic pillar… Today, it is the Ambassador of Lebanon to wherever Lebanese citizens are present, proudly holding the name of Beirut, the capital that will never die."
