In an interview to Al Akhbar newspaper, published on 28 November, 2014 Dr. Salim Sfeir, CEO Bank of Beirut, asserted Bank of Beirut's readiness to face any upcoming challenges, mentioning that the Bank has re-evaluated its strategy in light of the prevailing situation in the region, and has reset its priorities accordingly.

Concluding his interview, Dr. Sfeir stated that Bank of Beirut cross-border strategy has proven to be very efficient, noting that the Bank is expanding into grade-A countries.
