Dr. Salim Sfeir, Chairman – CEO of Bank of Beirut has received a letter from Hon. Mike Baird - NSW Premier, in which he thanks the Chairman for presenting him Bank of Beirut Award in the presence of His Beatitude, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Rai.

In his letter, Baird praised Sfeir's commitment to making a success of the Bank of Sydney, which is a significant investment in the NSW economy. He said: "The NSW government welcomes the sizeable number of jobs the Bank of Sydney has enabled, the investments it has facilitated in the NSW economy and the increased trade it has made possible with a number of regions in the world".
