In an interview to l’Orient le Jour on July 31st, Mr. Salim Sfeir, CEO Bank of Beirut, highlighted the fact that the banking sector is well equipped to weather the regional conflicts.

After giving some figures, Sfeir said that Bank of Beirut posted another year of profitable growth though the political, economic and social environment and situation were precarious and promised another successful year thanks to the good results of the first semester of 2014.

The constant evolution of Bank of Beirut, according to Salim Sfeir, is due to the strategy it follows, the leading part it plays, and the wide range of products it offers.

“Our aim today is to increase our market share and develop our activities in the countries where we operate,” asserts Sfeir.
