Official Bank of Beirut Delegation visit to Accra

An official Bank of Beirut delegation, headed by the Bank’s Chairman – CEO, Dr. Salim Sfeir, visited the Ghanaian capital from the 6th through the 10th of April, with the intention to strengthening the bonds with the Lebanese in West Africa and to evaluate the operations of the Bank’s Representative Office in Accra. The visit was also an occasion to boost the Affinity partnership with the Lebanese American University (LAU) through its extended support during the annual gala dinner held by the Alumni Chapter, in Ghana, in the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Joseph Jabbra.

Bank of Beirut delegation comprising members of the Board, Senior Executive Officers and Representatives of both Nigeria and Ghana Representative Offices, hosted a dinner for  Lebanese businessmen residing in West Africa, which was attended by the Ambassador of Lebanon to Ghana, H.E. Ali Halabi, Lebanese living in Ghana and a number of prominent figures from both the business and social circles in Ghana.

It is worth noting that  this  visit comes in  the spirit   of Bank of Beirut’s  pledge to expand  beyond borders, signifying  the Bank’s commitment to enhance ties  with  Ghana and  the West Africa region, noting that the newly established Representative Office in Accra is a  significant development in the expansion of the Bank’s footprint in Africa.
